Flying to Eilat for Petra Tours

Q. I want to fly to Eilat. What time should I book my return flight to Tel Aviv?

A. Customers should always book flights after 20:00. Usually the tour returns before 19:00 but there might be a lot of people at the border and the crossing can take a lot of time. Give yourself plenty of time.

Q. I am flying to Eilat. Can I take an early morning flight for the tours?

A. At this time, the flights do not get into Eilat in time for the tours and a tour can’t be delayed in case a flight is late in arriving. In the summer the afternoon heat is very strong and in the winter, the days are short. That is why the tours have to start early in the morning. We suggest taking a flight the day before the tour.

If you are taking a private tour, it may be possible to take an early morning flight.
